We are writing to you regarding Title 19NYCRR Part 1203 (H)(2) Fire safety and property maintenance inspections that states in part "Provisions shall be made for fire safety and property maintenance inspections of all multiple dwellings and all nonresidential occupancies at intervals consistent with local conditions, but in no event shall such intervals exceed one year for dormitory buildings and three years for all other buildings".
For the purpose of this section does the term "fire safety and property maintenance inspection" include the interior of any apartment located within a building containing 3 or more units considered to be a multiple dwelling whether or not the building has a common area?
